“Peek at the Week”
February 27, 2017
It’s time for the letter J. We’ll be thinking of jelly, jam, jaguars,
jeeps, etc. We’ll begin a new Reading
Theme, “In the Neighborhood”. We’ll also
be reading Dr. Seuss books in honor of his birthday on Thursday.
Our high frequency words this week; up, down
In Math, we will continue to take apart numbers. We’ll also make a calendar
for the month of March.
In Science, we’ll revisit weather and discuss how
March comes in like a lion, but goes out like a lamb.
Religion, we’ll begin Lent on Wednesday.
Join us for Mass at 10 a.m. We’ll
discuss ways that we prepare our hearts during Lent through prayer, fasting,
send in a canned good for the local food pantry.
Seuss Day March 2nd
