Kindergarten - Ratchford

   “Peek at the Week”
May 22, 2017

In Reading, we continue to practice our personal responses to read aloud stories and to write daily journals.  We’ll also practice distinguishing the short vowel sounds and the long vowel sounds.  And, of course, we will find time for reading to self or with a buddy each day!

In Math, we’ll reinforce our number sense and skills with numerals above 20.  Keep practicing identifying money.  We all need some more practice.

In Religion, we’ll discuss the Holy Day of Obligation on Thursday, the Ascension of our Lord.  We’ll read how Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to be our helper.

In Science, we’ll experiment with forces; pushes and pulls.

THANK YOU for the lovely flowers you sent to school last week.
We had a lovely bouquet for Mary.
